Qualified Carpenter required for residential refurbishment in Sw London

We are a small residential construction company searching for a motivated and highly skilled carpenter to carry out various refurbishment works at a residential property in South West London. We anticipate the project to last approximately 8 weeks, although there is every possibility that employment beyond this time can continue on a regular basis on other projects. Attractive rates of pay are available to qualified tradesmen. A per day rate of £120 - £150 dependent upon experience in the UK and official qualifications is on offer to the right person. Applicants should be able to : - Provide proof of their ability to work legally in the UK - Show Trade Qualification documents from their country of origin - Have approximately 2 years experience working in UK residential construction. - Provide references and contact details of previous clients/contractors - Provide Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) number or limited company details - Speak fluent English - Provide their own hand tools and battery drill as an absolute minimum. You will report directly to the project manager and be responsible for all carpentry aspects of the renovation. Applicants must therefore be able to work independently and use their own initiative, as well as cooperate with other trades where necessary. A labourer will be on hand when required to assist. Quality carpentry finishing skills are required for this project. Details include but are not limited to: - constructing various custom wardrobes and cupboards from MDF to include drawers, shelves, doors etc. - Changes to property layouts such as relocating doorways, breaking through existing walls and creating new openings - Hanging standard internal doors and hardwood bi-fold doors - Part installation of a kitchen - carpentry related to the refurbishment of a bathroom Experience working on Loft conversions, side and rear extensions and general refurbishment would be advantageous as this is the bulk of work we undertake.
